..due to spotting and cramping. It was quite an event. That was the last place I expected to end up at this point. When they brought me into the room to be checked I had two screaming women in labor on either side of me. I felt bad for them..It was crazy. Anyway the baby is fine, thank god. Apparently my placenta is lying a bit low which could have been the cause. Other than that the doctor had no explanation, which I hate. I like having answers! Either way, the baby is fine and that is all that matters. Oh and the doctor slipped up while doing an ultrasound. "He" is doing just fine. ![]()
Of course, the possibility that it could be a boy has me thrilled to no end. Right now though that is all it is though, a possibility. I think I'm going to wait until my 20 week u/s to buy stuff and tell. You never know!!
Re: So I spent Saturday night in L&D...
my angel babies: 6/10 (chem. pg), 9/10 @ 10 weeks
I am glad you and baby are ok!! How scary!
Scary! I'm glad you're okay. Stay rested and stress-free. (Easier said than done.)
And SO EXCITING about the possible gender slip! I hope you're not disappointed to find out. I don't know how you have the willpower to try to be surprised. I'm so happy for you!
Wow- I had the EXACT same thing happen with DD when I was 16 weeks. It was a looong day with no real answers besides the low-lying placenta (placenta previa). It corrected itself by my 20 week ultrasound, but I did end up having some unexplained bleeding when I was 22/23 weeks. DD was fine but they never found a reason for it. GL & hopefully this was just a small, albeit scary, bump in the road
Congrats on the possibility of a "He"
I hope you and the little one stay healthy throughout the rest of your pregnancy!
Thank you ladies!
I'm kind of hoping that it is a boy. I would be happy either way as long as I have a healthy baby, but if this one is a boy then I'm so done for awhile!! A girl and a boy.. that would complete us. For now.
