After hearing about the accident Ryan C had in the kitchen, we knew L couldn't stand on her step stool or chair to work in the kitchen anymore. But we really didn't want to spend the $ to buy the learning tower or kitchen helper. SOOOO...my handy hubbie built the perfect solution. It raises her up 16", but has a "fence" on all 4 sides to keep her from falling off. It isn't pretty (yet! I have to paint it) but it works for us. And she couldn't be happier!
ETA: Since we had the plywood already, this project cost only $17. Woo hoo!!
Re: PIP: Our DIY kitchen helper/learning tower
