I feel like I smell pee everywhere.  Also Dh is out of town do u think its okay to change the litter??

    I will admit I have changed the litter many times because I can't stand the smell...and I also feel like I smell the pee everywhere!!!

    You could tie something around your face and wash your hands really well when you are done if you are that worried about it.

    Just don't eat the litter or lick your hands when you are done Big Smile

    Also ... wear disposable gloves ... I haven't heard anything about masks but definitely wearing disposable gloves and then washing your hands well ...

    Toxoplasmosis can be airborne when you dig around in the litter. Wear a mask or cover your face somehow and wear gloves. You should be fine.

    I have changed the litter during my whole pregnancy.  I am extremely carefun not to make a mess and I clean the box out about every 2 days.  I wash my hands right away afterwards and I have been fine :-)
