Advertising FAIL

So I'm looking through my mail this morning and I come across a little card advertising an extended warranty for my car.

The first line:  "We notice that you bought your 2001 Honda 1 month ago."

I bought my car in brand new.  In 2001.

FAIL.

    My DH keeps getting mail from refi companies and the letters are addressed Mrs.K (But to his name).  Somewhere some one has his gender as F.

    I used to work in the car business, Thosewarrenty notices are a fraud! Ihave seen so many people fall scam to them too. Mostly seniors. Its really a shame. I know that the state is trying to do something about it however. unfortunalty the word of the scam doesnt get out very well.

    My DH got the same thing for his Mazda.  He's had it like 9 years and it said he'd bought it a month ago.  Into the recycle bin!
