crib issues!

The only baby stores near me are Walmart, Target, Babies R Us and Baby Depot, all of which I went to and looked at all of their cribs and furniture, and all of which I didn't really like any.  I also checked out their websites and wasn't impressed.  Does anyone know of any other good websites to order furniture from?  I'm kinda hesitant to give that much money to a random website.  If anyone has a recommendation, that would be great!

Have you looked at actual furniture specialty stores as opposed to baby stores??  We purchased ours from a local retailer that specializes in kid's bedroom furniture and nursery furniture, not necessarily a "baby retailer".

Yes but I live far away from everything in middle of nowhere GA. There are stores like that an hour and a half drive away, I was just hoping to avoid that.

Georgia Baby and New Baby Products in Atlanta I can really recommend.  How much are you looking to spend?  Both of these had cribs starting around $400 and up.

The Baby's Room Kennesaw is also a good place to look.

Where in GA are you and I might be able to help you find other places?

We ordered a baby mod crib from walmart Cadence in Espresso and Love it.  But I also second JC Penny as having good options. Buy Buy Baby carries the Westwood crib line, much more expensive, but if I were going to spend the money, this would hav been the manufacturer I woul dhave spent it on.

$400 is about the max we want to spend on the crib.  I'm in McDonough.  I've seen those stores during on online search, but the moms at my doctor's office told me they are all expensive fancy stuff.  Were they wrong lol?

Those stores do have a lot of high end stuff and are probably out of your price range, unless you find something that is on sale.  You may want to call New Baby Products and ask them if they have any furniture specials.  I know that one of the cribs I was looking at was a floor sample that included the crib, hutch, combo dresser and something else for $1500 orig $2150.  The chest of drawers was another $400.  They had other floor sample specials.

I know of a couple of places in Macon, but both carry Stanley Young America which is pricer than you are going to want.  Unfortunately you've found all of the local lesser expensive options.  JCPenneys (but I don't think they have the cribs in store) or Ikea are about the only other places that you haven't looked.   Have you looked at the Baby Cache line at BRU?  It is Munire and looks very similar to other munire lines.

Sorry.  I hoped that I could help you out more.
