Felt silly this morning

Last week, my coworkers held a shower for us in the big conference room where we normally have our Monday meeting.

So this morning, I got to the meeting about one minute late because I had to get my nephew's birthday card in the mail. When I walked in, I heard someone say, "Nope, she's still here," and I got kind of scowly - WTF is everybody on Labor Watch for me or something?

Sat through the meeting - when I got up to leave, I realized that the big easel up front still said, "Congratulations Dawn & Scott!" from the shower on Wednesday. No wonder they thought I had had the baby. Embarrassed

      Hahaha!  That would totally happen to me.  Even when people mean well at work, I'm so defensive about it lately, that I get pissy prematurely:)
