Absolutely. I don't know how on earth my body made something so freakin adorable. I'm amazed everyday that he's mine (and DH's) and that he will be... FOREVER.
I told this to DH yesterday and he said, "I'm sure everybody thinks that about their kid", like I was saying ours were the cutest or something...I was like "well I hope so!" Duh, DH.
I think the mother's amazement is a little more intense since they popped out of us?
EVERYDAY! I am still just in total amazement at how amazing the human body is and can make the most beautiful beings. The whole first week I was home I would be on the verge of joyful tears when I watched DD sleep.
All day, every day. I think the words "you are SO STINKIN CUTE" come out of my mouth at least 20 times a day. My mother keeps asking me if I'm ever going to "get used to him"--because even when she comes over to play with him so I can get stuff done, I end up just sitting there staring at him in wonderment. I wake up in the middle of the night and just look at him. I know we're not supposed to play with them when they wake up at 4 am, but when he gives me a giant grin in the dark, I can't help but tickle him to get more.
Re: Do you ever look at your kid/s and say...
