A yucky cold and Neti pots

Anyone else use a neti pot?  How often CAN I use it?  I feel like maybe if I use it every few hours it might actually help my very stuffy nose... but I don't know if that's too much neti.  Haha.

    I've used it. I used it twice a day.  I'm not sure what the limit is for it, if there is one.

    Hi!  I've been using it because I either have terrible pregnancy rhinitis or allergies (can't tell the difference) and if I use it on a regular basis it prevents severe stuffiness.  I've never tried it when I'm already stuffed up, but it's definitely worth a shot!  I think the directions say you can use it every 2 hours.

    I had a terrible cold last week and used it twice a day! Twice a day is what it said on the directions, im not sure if you can use it more. It didnt do much for my cold :(

    yep, i use mine year round. actually i don't use the neti pot, but i use a nasal rinser that does the same thing. doctor said i could use it whenever. when i'm stuffed up i use it at least twice a day.

    follow the instructions, unless your doc tells you otherwise: only use it if at least one nostril is clear and only use it twice a day.

    I have a cold and have been using it 2-3 times a day.

     My DH has used it up to 5 times a way when he had sinus infection and nothing bad happened.

    Pretty sure it says in the directions that you can use it every few hours. I've never had to use it more than twice a day, though.
