Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Is This Going to Be A Long Day?

Since stopping BF 2 months ago, I was getting concerned I might have a BFP since Aunt Flow didn't pay a visit...so yesterday reluctantly I took a pregnancy test and found out thankfully I had a BFN.  We want to wait another year or so before we even consider another baby...

anyhoo, this mornin Aunt Flow showed for the first time in over a year...I took Tylenol and am preparing myself for a long day.

But is the first "visit" after your baby is born really as bad as I hear?   Or is it the "normal" aches and pains you usually feel?

Re: Is This Going to Be A Long Day?

  • It was normal for me. I've always had very regular periods and hardly any cramping though, even after having a baby.

I'm still waiting for AF to show and I'm not BFing this time.

  • Loading the player...
  • My second AF was much worse. It took nine days for it to take its course. That factor alone made me bitchier than usual.
  • Mine's pretty bad.  Going on a month now, with no signs of stopping or letting up.  It's been almost as heavy as the first days after I had DD on occasion, otherwise, like a really heavy period.
  • Aunt flow keeps playing tricks on me.. she acts like she is showing up and then thinks again.. AGH! so annoying.. she needs to either come or go..

  • the first was was a little rough...really bad cramps but my second has been much easier..barely any cramps which is very rare for me!
