I just had to call the cops on the neighbors who live above me. There was all this loud banging coming from throughout their apartment and then I hear the woman scream and yell "Please don't hurt me!". It was scary! In the 10 years that I've been living in apartments I've never had something like that go on.

Yeah that could be scary. You did the right thing though. I went through shiit like that before, my neighbors kept to themselves though. I wish somebody would have called the cops.

Yeah, they've come and gone. They didn't arrest him though. But they've quit fighting, so that's good. I hope she's ok. I told the dispatcher I didn't want notified after they were done because I didn't want the guy to know it was me who called.

I always call anonymously as well! I live near some "lovely" apartments and I'm sure some of them are affiliated with gangs/drugs/prostitution so I ALWAYS leave calls anonymously.
