KMart has double coupons this week! My small rewards..

I bought the following:

-crest pro health toothpaste-reg 3.99, $1 coupon doubled to $2= $1.99

-tide 75oz-reg 12.99, on sale for 8.99, $1coupon doubled to $2=$6.99

-DH shaving cream-reg $4.39, $1coupon doubled to $2=$2.39

-Dawn Renewal Dish Soap-reg $2.99, sale $2.49, $1coupon doubled to $2=$0.50

Total= $13. I saved $8.00.  Not too shabby, right? It's my first try at double coupons! Anyone else?

    Nice job for the first time!

    I'll be going this week too - with the 2 LO's....wish me luck!!! LOL. I always try and leave at least 1 home with Dad but will be on my own this week. 

    I'm cutting out my q's as I type =D

    Do you do this often? Any tips that aren't obvious? Seemed like some of the things I looked at, even with the sale price and the double coupon, weren't worth buying. Does that happen to you?

    I do go often, lol. I'm a self-proclaimed coupon-whore =D

    The last doubles in one transaction I started at 336.xx and ended at 16.xx - OH, and DON'T FORGET (if you go again) make sure to use a 5/50 Kmart coupon!! Can be used before coupons to bring your total down even more!

    I called my city's only K-Mart to verify that they're doubling and was told that they aren't.

    What's the deal? :(

    Did they limit your coupons to only 10?

    One of my store does, the other doesn't - it is really YMMV....

    It might be worth calling and asking beforehand. Some stores will also let you separate your transactions....my one store starting doing this. Letting you use 10 q's in a transaction...

    Oh, YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary =)

    Thank you! how many coupons did you end up using with the one that would let you?
