My midwife strongly encourages light exercise. I walk, do yoga and swim (thank goodness for warm Texas weather!). It has definitely helped keep my swelling to a minimum, compared to my last pregnancy.
I exercised faithfully until my third tri. I started having alot of contractions and since I have had pre-term labor in my past pregnancies, I thought I should be on the safe side and cut down on my activity.
At 37 weeks, I take prenatal yoga class once a week, do prenatal yoga DVDs 2-3 times a week, and twice a week I do 25-35 mins on the elliptical and some light weights/strength training (like weight-free squats, pelvic tilts, bicep curls- nothing crazy.) I live in the city, and the weather has been great, so I walk a lot too.
I definitely do a lot less and move slower as time goes by. I started prenatal aerobics at 12 weeks, was running until 20 weeks then switched to aerobics, elliptical, recline bike, outdoor walks, prenatal yoga. I did regular yoga until about 27 weeks or so, but only 30 mins at a time. My doc/midwife says way to go, keep it up, just listen to your body.
(FYI, I haven't had to go to a job since May- I am NO fitness buff, just feel better when I work out and luckily have the time!)
I said no, not at all.. but DH and I try to walk about a mile/ mile and a half after work the nights that we aren't going to do errands after work and the weather is nice. It has been getting pretty cool out lately and raining a lot so it doesn't happen much lately. Other than that I don't exercise much since I got pregnant.
In first tri, I took a belly dancing class, but thats really all the exercising I've done to speak of. I know I would feel better if I did, but that just hasn't been enough motivation for me.
I do a little of everything; walk, swim, stationary bike, yoga, circuit weights and elliptical. Up til' 33-35 weeks, I did step and spin classes, but those are days of the past for a few weeks

I put other because my excercising is very irregular but I do practice prenatal yoga every week. I usually walk or do the elliptical a couple days a week as well.

I voted "other". While I'm not "working out" in the sense of putting on my work-out clothes and going out, I consider chasing DD around, running around the park w/ her, picking her up all the time, going on walks through the neighborhood with her, etc... as exercising I'm worn out enough from all that and that's all I've been doing this pregnancy!
Last pregnancy, I was still jogging at 40 weeks. I was also doing yoga and water aerobics. Oddly, I've gained about 15 lbs less so far this pregnancy.. so my chasing DD around must be a good workout

I ran up until last week when my Doc put me on bedrest for the risk of HELLP. I would still be running if they would let me.

I walk...when I go places. :P
Over the past week and a half, I've been moving to my new house...I've been doing tons of cleaning, etc. I guess you could call that a workout.
