Finger foods

So Donovan does great when he can hold something that's slightly bigger like a piece of pear. But when I hold puffs or melts out for him to eat, he scoops it up with his mouth instead of using his hands. Should I just remove the food when he tries to do this do that he will find another way to eat it? Finger foods confuse me!

    Meh, i think theyre still figuring out the whole Hand-mouth coordination thing.. If it were holden, i would let him eat them any way he could figure out.   Do you ever put him in his highchair or the bumbo and just pour them onto the tray?   He may be confused because youre hand feeding him?

    Let him eat them however he wants.

    It doesnt' matter right now - let him play and experiment.   And I also agree - just put them on his tray or a plate or something. If your'e holding it in your hands, he might not understand that you want him to take them from you.
