Best overnight disposable diaper?

I normally do cloth but we're going to be without a washer for a week and I'm not hauling diapers to the laundromat. I tried a Huggies Overnight last night and his pjs were wet this morning. I don't know if sizing up would help (it was a 3, he is 21 lbs.) or if a different kind is better. I am using Huggies Pure and Natural during the day and haven't tried them for overnight, because I figured the specific overnight diapers were most absorbant.

Also, did they ever start making disposable diaper doublers again?

 Thanks for your help!

  • Pampers Cruisers work best for us!  No leaking in the am.

  • We just use pampers baby dry as usual and have no problem.  Try using a size bigger

  • Huggies Overnights a size up has been great for us. DS is a big pee-er and we never have leaks. He is currently wearing a size 6 at night and is about 26 pounds, so it sounds like you are going too small.

  • I would do a size up on the huggies overnights.  they work great for us and collin is in a five (27 lbs)

  • We use huggies overnight size 4 (DS is 22 lbs) and 99% of the time have no problem. DS has been in size 4 for overall for a while though... sizing up would definitely help!

  • Huggies Overnights worked like crap for us, even a size up. She woke up soaked in the middle of the night every night. I now swear by Pampers "Extra Protection." I think it's their version of an overnight as there are stars & a moon on the box. She never leaks out of those; they're the only thing that works at night for us.
  • We use the Huggies Overnights but a size up. Kian is 23 punds and we use a size 4. He has never had a leak in them.

  • Huggies Overnight is best for us, sounds like that won't help you though...
  • Ditto to all the pp about Huggies Overnights and sizing up. We have actually yet to find an overnight CD combo that doesn't leak and we've never had an issue with the huggies so they do hold a ton.
  • Huggies Overnights work best for us.  DS is also 21 lbs, but we use size 5.   I think that size 4 would probably work now though.  We moved up to size 5 back when he was still getting a nighttime bottle.
  • Ditto everyone who said to go up a size in Huggies Overnights. Pampers Extra Protection were horrible for us. DS is a heavy wetter overnight and we've never had an issue with leaks.

  • Thanks, all! Just got a chance to come back to the thread. I had the Huggies Overnights leftover and they still fit him well, but it sounds like the absorbancy of the larger size is where it's at.

    Thanks!
