This is starting to drive me nuts! Ok, my newest possible idea is to do the two walls with windows (where the crib is on diagonally) in the Blue and the other two walls in a neutral tan color.
I think the idea of a chair rail, perhaps in white, is a great idea. Then paint blue on the bottom and tan/cream on top. Would look nice with that bedding.
IMO, accent walls are just not a good idea in a room that small. You need architectural interest to make them really work, too- a giant vault, beautiful window, something along those lines. And definitely not 2 and 2.
Have you thought about throwing up a chair rail and painting the top and bottom different colors? A great way to get two wall colors to look good together.
This. We did it with our DS #1 room and it makes the room look so much bigger.
I think we have finally decided to go with the chair rail. We've found a nice light neutral color--its like a taupe- and on the bottom we are going to do the blue.
I work for an Architecture / Engineering firm and we do this a lot. Most of the time it is just one accent wall, but sometimes we do two. I think your idea would work just fine. If you like the idea do it, you'll probably be spending the most time in that room (besides LO).
Re: F/U Painting help- 2 walls 1 color, 2 walls another color
Yeah- I originally was thinking 1 but since our crib is going to be on 2 walls diagonally I'm worried it might look funny?
Ugg.

Thanks for the advice!
