This exactly, but I'm the first to admit I'm a prude about stuff like this.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

Why get married, if this is what you want to do with your time. I agree with IHHM, in college this would have intrigued me. But I met my hubby in college and I grew up. The world changed when I met N and I would never want to jeopardize that! EVER!! This can only end one way.

All I hear is porno music in my brain.
I just can't imagine that as part of a healthy relationship with your husband. call me a prude but the idea of watching each other with other people doesnt' seem like a good plan in the long run. I can see the idea of doing something daring and adventurous as being exciting. But the idea of it. Actually doing it means you'll have to deal with the fallout of having had sex with someone else, in front of your spouse. And I'd be way too scare dthat the aftermath would really be hell and totally not worth the fun you might think it would be. And that's just hypothetical anyway, it's nothing I would ever consider anyway.
I do have one friend who's very sexually adventurous and is in a relationship with another woman outside of her marriage with a man. her marriage has been doomed from the start though, so it's not surprising to me. But in the end, she says she's happy, so who am I to judge? (even though I secretly do)
HAHAHAHA!!! Wonder if she is one of the many lurkers. She is asking around about midwives, ya know!! I might of brought the GWs a little too close to home for her to ever de-lurk now!!

ETA - So I've read the entire thread now. I'm not judging the entire situation, since apparently it was a mutual decision and both couple were on board. However, I am judging that the OP wouldn't let her husband do the other woman because OP wasn't ready for that. Even though her husband apparently finished, I'm not convinced that her husband was as on board with this as OP was. That's where the danger lies. She may think her marriage is stable now, but what happens if this becomes a point of contention between them in the future? Would this be a deal-breaker for her husband once the "honeymoon period" is over?
I'm curious to see how this plays out.

I outed myself on accident. I guess I should probably DD the post because there's no way in hell I want anyone IRL to know right now.
and just to clarrify CG- actual intercourse between just the married couples was a rule that we were all comfortable with. dh is more than on board with the whole thing, fortunately. = ) I would never have considered it otherwise. my marriage is still the most important area of my life, we just happen to be more sexually open than other couples. at any point that any of the four of us want to stop swinging, we will, no questions asked. I'd be okay with this being a one time thing, it was a blast. the fact that the other parties involved want this relationship to continue is a bonus, not something we expected.
dh and I have been really close and really happy since the experience. we've both been really attentive and loving. I know it sounds a little crazy but its working for us. if it ever stops working for us, we'd be more than happy to go back to just each other.
and no, I wont let this stop me from de-lurking over here. it might not be your style but I didn't see anyone calling me a traitorous whore or anything so its all good. = )

::scratches head:: did I say 3 out or the 4 of us? I didn't meant to. it was full participation of two couples. there were points where only 2 or 3 of us were actually involved but it was by and far a group activity.
