Clicky poll: How long is it acceptable to wear maternity clothes?

The only pair of jeans that fit my a$$ nicely are my Old Navy maternity ones with the 1 inch elastic band.  I totally wore them "going out" because even my new ones look crappy and sloppy. 

I'm of the opinion that if you can't tell right off that they're maternity clothes, who cares.  But it still makes me feel like a slob...What do you think?

    I wore them for about two weeks -- just jeans.  After that it just felt weird.

    Honestly, if they still fit, and they're not OBVIOUSLY maternity, then why ditch them?

    I'm still in maternity stuff.. jeans mostly, but a few tops that aren't obviously maternity. And I don't feel bad about it.. Sure, I wish I could wear my prePG jeans, but this is what fits and what is comfortable, so its what I will wear.

    I wore mine for maybe only like 3 weeks after but I had the ones w/ the full panel which was kinda stretched so they were falling off my body and were uncomfy. I say it's your personal choice and how you feel. I wouldn't judge you! :)

    I bought new jeans in a bigger size but I am NOT going to lie....the other night I put on some spanx UNDERNEATH my full panel maternity jeans from old navy and kept on stepping because it made my tummy look flat with the shirt I was wearing. I got a billion compliments about how good my body was looking so soon PP and nobody was the wiser:)

    I still wear my maternity tanks/camis.  They are so much longer than my nonmaternity ones, I love them.  I feel like they cover my belly with stretch marks better.

    i have a ton of "maternity" t-shirts that i wear- they are just normal t-shirts that are longer - so they don't look maternity at all... i have no plans to ever stop wearing them :)

    I wore my mat. jeans for about 1.5-2 months.... mostly b/c they didn't rub on my c/s incision while it was healing- and i didn't have much else that fit.  I don't wear them anymore- i finally fit into my fat pair of regular jeans :)

    i would not wear maternity shirts that look maternity - ie) empire waist and flowing... but thats just me- i say- wear what makes you feel good.
