TTC After a Loss

s/o the new boards

Take a moment and imagine if Knot Anni finally got fed up with everything, told us to all eff off and made us all share one board.

Not sure if I should cringe or laugh at that thought!  I think the only board that would actually prevent me from coming here is 1st tri.

"I'm 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant and I'm scared to use the seat warmers in my car but my selfish DH won't remove them :(  What should I do?"

Re: s/o the new boards

  • Will I hurt my baby if I cough? What about going on a hayride? If H and I have sex for 2 hours straight, am I going to scramble my babe's brains? It bleeding after sex normal?

Oh yeah, these were always my favorite.

When I was pregnant the second time, some higher-than-thou woman with a child in her siggy posted on first tri laughing at the people worrying about their pregnancies, saying it was so much less stressful with her second pregnancy. I responded and said, "That's funny. Because MY second pregnancy is a lot MORE stressful!"

  • Oh, and don't forget the, "I had unprotected sex yesterday. Could I be pregnant???" posts.

  • oh no, i ate some ham will that cause my baby to come out looking like a pig?

i had 1/8 glass of wine on CD3 of my BFP cycle, is my baby drunk?

  • These posts remind me of my short lurking stint on 1st tri when I was KTFU last time.

  • OMG I have totally lost 4 lbs since I got pregnant instead of gained.  How much have all of you gained?
  • I ate a "fingernail's" worth of Feta. But don't worry, I threw it up right away!

    That was my fave.

  • You girls are harsh...

  • The one to this day that still pisses me off are the girls who were like "I wish I had m/s and would throw up so I would feel like I'm pregnant"  I couldn't keep ice down or walk from the sofa to the bathroom without throwing up and they were wishing it upon themselves?!  Ugh, just thinking of that makes my head hurt.

I hear you. I wound up in the ER for fluids at 8 weeks, and it went downhill from there. I know what they are getting at, but truly, they don't want that.

Yep, I was hospitalized 3 times for dehydration and starvation.  By the 2nd tri I lost 12 lbs and was on bedrest, and even if I left the house I had to carry my yuck bucket or plastic bags.  It was so bad that I actually threw up an hour before I delivered the baby.  Then I would log on and hear them complaining about not having it.  I can say I never wanted m/s but now I welcome it if it means I can have a baby.
