My pregnant friend just text me...

And asked me if it is possible that her baby is having seizures in her belly.  She said that her baby is super active, and it almost feels like the baby is having seizures.

I don't know if these is either a really stupid question, or a very serious question.

    Hmmm.... I'd say her baby is really active. But that's just me.

    DS had lots of hiccups inside.  But a friend of mine went to the hospital for an U/S to make sure her LO wasn't having seizures inside.  All turned out fine, but just have your friend call the dr.  I guess you never know.

    If its a serious question and shes really concerned she should be calling her Dr. not you.

    I hope that isnt what it is though.

    Nope.  Dead serious.  She asks me for a lot of advice about pregnancy and stuff.  She's really young, only 19, and very uneducated on all of this, so I try to help her as much as I can.

    DD was extremely active, but I never related the movement to seizures...

    I felt something similar while I was pg...the doctor said that sometimes LO will hit a nerve in your belly and you feel like your whole belly is vibrating.  It's normal!
