OMG! DD shaved her leg.

She was playing upstairs in her room while I was cleaning the bathroom. She comes in a few minutes later and says, my legs are super soft now - mommy.

I looked up and she said, I shaved my leg. I run over and sure enough, she's holding DD's razor and her formerly hairy leg is now smooth. I grabbed the razor and told her she's not to play with it again and then gave DH a call to tell him what happened.

10 minutes later, she asked to do her other leg. Lesson learned, no more shaving my legs in front of her and for DH to put his razor away.

Thank goodness, she didn't hurt herself.

  • oh my goodness....Michelle has been asking to shave her legs too but we keep razors well out of reach & have been for awhile.

Josh did this once when he was 2.5 yrs old....got a hold my razor and gave himself a dry shave on his upper lip

  • omg this is one of my fears. DH started letting DS watch him shave a couple of months ago. I got really upset when I found out. I had to explain to him that all it would take is him to grab the razor one day and try to copy you, and slice his cheek.
  • Wow!  Glad she didn't cut herself.

We have a pretend shaving kit that ds uses every other day.  He and dh shave together and it's super cute.  I found it at Target, maybe you can get her that to play with.
