PSA: Don't circ your 3 year old

I feel so badly for him. I mean terrible- seriously. He's miserable. He stood up all night. This is awful. The pain meds seem to wear off after only an hour. He is holding his pee so long that he's had accidents. Which is totally fine- I am not knocking him for having accidents, just saying this sucks royally. Oh and to top it off, did I mention he stood ALLL night and I stood next to him and we got no sleep.

Dunkin Donuts will be my best friend today. Ugh

    oh no!  i am so sorry - that is miserable, i say Starbucks with a double shot of espresso.  give TJ big hugs, it is probably harder b/c he is older and much more aware of what is going on and feeling the pain down there.  i have heard of littler ones being re-circ'd (we are talking under one year) and not having so much pain with it.

    Oh no! Poor thing. Ugh, my heart goes out to you too. Can you see if there is anything else you can do for his pain? Different meds, ice, or a topical neosporin type product that has some pain reliever in it? I hope you can both get some sleep soon!

    I think I am going to call the dr.- I can't take another night like last night and frankly, he was BEGGING for me to make it stop hurting. I wasn't sure how the pain meds should work- I mean I know they wont be effective the whole 4 hours but 1 outta 4 doesn't seem right?
