marion never ever ever did the traditional baby thing of holding on our hands while learning to walk. if you tried to help her, she'd just sit down. every step she learned she learned on her own. which made me pretty sad since like that holding your fingers taking little steps is such a mental image you have of a baby learning to walk.
anyway. so now she doesn't crawl at all. if she falls down, she gets right back up and starts walking. so if we're walking from room to room and she gets tired, she stops, and holds up her little hand and says "mama, mama, mama" and wants me to hold her hand while we walk.
and she holds my hand like such a big kid, not like a little baby. last night, she wanted me to hold one hand and josh to hold the other while we walked to her bedroom. what a big (and sweet) kid she's turning out to be.

Awww, so sweet, kat - she's so beautiful.
Do you want a 3 year old too? I have one I can send you. He comes with a nice wardrobe and a bed.
