This was an episode of Grey's, but the woman had two uteruses. That was a good episode.

It wasn't two weeks after birth -- the second baby was concieved two weeks after the first conception. It's pretty crazy... i read about a similar incident several years ago too (not sure when it happened, though).

It'll be interesting to see how this pans out. My guess is that it's more likely that the second twin is failing to thrive and grow. But the article doesn't say how far along they are now.
There was a girl on FF who claimed this happened to her, but her story was so full of holes... she lost one twin and when they did an u/s (when they found the one that died) they said it was 2 weeks behind. Well, the more likely story is that the baby had died 2 weeks before but she hadn't had signs or miscarried yet. Right? Her doc didn't say they were conceived separately, she just inferred that from the dating thing.
Anyway, I still don't know how it would be possible. I thought when you got pregnant, your cervix closed up tight so that nothing could go in or out. I do have a friend with 2 cervixes though (how weird is tht??) so maybe something like that could make it possible? LIke on the Grey's story with the 2 uterus story.
I *loved* Irish twin day!! And - Jill... Two cervixes???? Wth?
Yeah weird huh? ANd none of her docs had noticed it until she was going through infertility stuff. TThe second one was small and way back or something. But they both went into her one uterus I guess. She never did end up having a child, and I ddn't ask more about it, but I wonder if it had anything to do with it?
Would you believe I actually know 2 sisters that were born under the same conditions? Yep---born on the same day but they insist they are sisters. One was technically born 2 weeks premature. They're healthy and in their mid-20's right now. It's so very rare but it can happen I guess!
Re: Woman gets pregnant 2 weeks apart..
Wow, wow, WOW!
I can't imagine even having sex that close to giving birth.
