My cell phone got wet

I had my phone in my bag and it got damp when my water bottle spilled.  It was still working and didn't appear to have water inside it.  So I didn't worry about it too much.  Now while it is still working, it keeps going offline. 

So it is taking a bath in rice for the night.  Keep your fingers crossed.

    I did this on our honeymoon (awful, no good, very bad day). What worked for me was holding it outside the window of our convertible for about a half hour lol.

    i dropped my cell phone in the toilet one time (after i flushed my pee) and had dh fish it out. then i blow dried it with the cool air to get the water out from inside it and after 2 days it worked just fine.
    Thing 1 = April 2008, 38weeks 8lbs 7oz 19in
    Thing 2 = May 2009, Stillborn 33weeks 4lbs 9oz 18in
    Thing 3 = October 2010, 27weeks 4days 2lbs 4oz 14.25in

    I did blow dry it on cool for a few minutes and it stopped going offline, but I figure that chillin' in rice can't hurt it.

    My mom ran hers through the washer. She put it in a bowl of rice and it started working again.
