32w5d and I dropped today.

in 3rd Trimester
Im 32w5d and baby weighed in at 5 1/2lbs today.  She also "dropped" today.  Anyone experience this so early on?

    Just curious...how was the weight estimate determined? At 32 weeks that seems a bit big. Also, who told you that you had dropped? I am almost 36 weeks and I can't tell if he has actually started to move down or not yet.

    Yep. Then she grew again and "undropped".  Silly babies!

    Had ultrasound today and they estimated her weight at 5 1/2 lbs.  Yes - BIG.  I also can feel I dropped since Ive had to use the bathroom A LOT today and feel so much pressure lower which was confirmed by the ultrasound that she is "low".  Also, my breasts use to lay on my belly.  Now they dont.  My OB usually measures me and I dont see him til next week.  I measured like he does and my belly button is lower.  Does all this mean she is on her way?

    Not sure about "dropping" my LO has just been low for a while now. People make comments to me about her having "dropped" but she hasn't really gone anywhere, just been low pretty much this whole time.

    i agree, that does seem kind of big for how far along you are.  was it on an ultrasound?

    At 28 weeks on my ultrasound the baby measured at 3lb 5oz so your baby could very well be that big!  Big babies run in our fam!

    You may be in the final stretch, however, my sister had frequest ultra sounds due to high risk and they were off by 2 pounds with her.  At the most recent ultra sound before she delivered, they meausred her baby at 4 1/2 pounds and she weighed 2 pounds 14oz when she delievered.  Way off!

    I just got back from my doc appt. and my baby is estimated to weigh 4lbs 9 ozs from the ultrasound they did, he is also already in position, but the doc didn't mention anything about "dropping".  I think we have the same due date!!!
