By the time I went back to work when she was just over 3 months, she was on a regular nap schedule and had a bedtime. It all fell into place sometime before then, but I admit it had nothing to do with us, and she kind of made her own schedule
About 3 months. The bedtime/wake up time was all her, and then I read somewhere how often babies of her age should be napping, and started paying as best attention as I could to her tired cues, and lo and behold - she took regular naps. And then teething started and screwed everything up, napwise at least.
She has been STTN since she was 6 weeks, her bedtime and wake time will shift every month or so but always within 30 min from the usual time. She's never been on a nap schedule per se, but she tends to get sleepy after 2-2.5hrs of being awake, then will nap. She's fed on demand so there is no set schedule there either. Her only schedule really is bedtime, 7pm-7am.
She is just now getting into a predictable schedule. She's done it all on her own. She eats solids, takes bottles, and naps at fairly consistent times.
We started a schedule at 3.5 months and had to adjust it at 6 months. He was waking up a lot at night and needed more activity time during the day. We went from 2 hours of play to 2.5-3 hours-this meant we dropped our 5:00 cat nap.
