Sorry if I'm stealing this but...
I was having a bad day earlier but now, it has all turned around. So, I'm thankful for my lawyer!
I was in a car accident almost 3 years ago and my back was injured. I've been dealing with lawyers, insurance companies and Dr's ever since and it gets kind of annoying. Today, I finally got word that 1) My lawyer is putting in the first claim for the total amount of the offender's insurance policy (it wasn't very much but it's a start) and 2) That he is opening an uninsured motorist claim (since I carry that insurance) to beef up the settlement because he feels that I deserve more for what I've been through.
I don't normally boast about finances in any capacity but this accident changed my life and it finally seems like things, piece by piece, are getting back into place in our life and it feels great.
Re: Can I start Thankful Thursday this week?
Thankful Thursday it is!
And I'm glad things are finally falling into place. My mom was in a car accident, and it took two years for things to get settled. Both parties had the same insurance which sucked!
I'm thankful my guy is a temporary manager this week and he gets paid what he's worth for that week. He's been doing so awesome at work, but still hasn't been making what he made as an automotive tech...and that wasn't much to begin with.

I am thankful that my mom is home from the hospital and even though she is in a lot of pain, seems to be doing better everyday.
I am also thankful that we are moving into our house on SAT!! I am so excited, even though the first couple of nights, our rooms will just have beds in them!
I'm glad things are finally happening with your case, too, Kimberly.
I'm thankful that my good friend's mom, who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, decided to get a second opinion. As of now, it's looking like it's an inflamed nodule and not cancer! She has another test next week to be sure, so I'm crossing my fingers.
I'm also thankful that things have changed so much in my own mother's prognosis. One year ago yesterday, she was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She missed my wedding, had 5 weeks of treatments, surgery, 4 more months of treatments and is cancer free. I was remarking to her how much more positive we are about her situation vs a year ago!

I am thankful that DS has not been kicked out of his new daycare. It is my fear everyday when I go to pick him up. He has been the difficult child the last few days.
OH and thankful for my wonderful DH who stayed home from work to care for DS when he was sick Monday and Tuesday.

I am thankful that I have stopped being ill each and every morning!
I'm thankful that even though my Grandmother had a heart attack and fell earlier this week, she has stabilized and is going to be ok.
I'm thankful my puggy girl Stella doesn't have cancer! Our vet was 99% sure she did and DH and I spent all of Monday and Tuesday sobbing because she would have only had 5-8 months to live. She still has to have surgery, but she's going to be around for many more years.
I'm thankful I have the most supportive, caring family. They really pull together in times of crisis, forget any bad blood and get things taken care of. I'm so proud of them.
I'm thankful its almost Friday. Its been a really awful week and I can't wait for the weekend.
I am so thankful that I have been breast feeding for 11 months today. We had a really rough start and did not think my milk supply was going to last but it did! I am so glad I kept at it.
Although I am not thankful for the person that just started their chain saw right after I put down my teething baby!
