Shamfull I know, I have only had starbucks once in my life!

I want to try one of these pumpkin lattes everyone is talking about, i like hot drinks sweet. How should I order it to make it sweet? Or is it all premade?

    You shouldn't be ashamed of only going to Starbucks once.  IMO, it is way overpriced and overrated.  Although this pumpkin spice latte thing is tempting.

    it is sweet on it's own. enjoy. i wish i could have one but i am pre-gestational diabetes and can't have the sugar. they are my favorite ones( and the gingerbread) but i will have my baby by then and i will love it.

    I agree...  I actually ask for only two pumps pumpkin spice instead of the four they usually put in a grande (Five pumps in a venti).

    They gauge the amount of pumps of syrup they put in yoru drink on the size you get.  But I've never gotten an unsweet pumpkin or any other type of drink from there.  Then they put whip cream on it.  I can't wait until maybe November when they bring back the peppermint mocha twist.  It's a peppermint mocha with peppermint whip cream and peppermint chocolate flakes on top.  Mmmmmmm...

    Its sweet enouigh on its own but if you don't want it to have caffeine or you just want extra sugar then you can order Pumpkin Spice Cream. Its exactly the same thing except the regular Pumkin Spice is coffee based and the Pumkin Spice Cream is Cream based. I think they're equally delicious.

    Pumpkin Spice is sweet, but very nutmeg/cinnamony, and definitely not as sweet as something like a White Mocha.  I like hot drinks sweet too, and I worked at Starbucks for years, and my favorite Pumpkin combo is a grande with 1/2 Pumpkin syrup and 1/2 White Mocha syrup (this is 2 pumps of each.)  This way it's not SOO spicy, and more sweet than usual :)  Delish!

    and to pp: I LOVED the peppermint whipped cream last year--sooooo good on Peppermint White Mochas!  You guys know you can still get a Peppermint Mocha at any time right?  It just won't have the delicious topping from Christmas time, but it's the same drink!
