Sling users

I have a ring sling and I like using it and Elizabeth loves being carrid around.  But I have bumped her twice now - I feel horrible!  I bumped her head into the wall once kinda hard and once into the dresser not very hard.  I have also narrowly missed the counter.  Do you just get used to it eventually?

Also, does anyone have a ring sling and a moby?  How would you compare the two and which do you like better?

    Yeah, i think you get used to it. I wacked Eve's head on one of our cabinets pretty early on. Poor kid.

    I tried a hotsling at one point, but liam didn't like it.  We have a Moby, which Liam and I both love.  Even on his fussiest of days I can put him in there and he is instantly happy.  Plus I can get some stuff down around the house or it's great when I'm out and about and don't want to deal with a stroller (like when I'm grocery shopping).  A couple of times I've bumped his leg on the counter, but nothing bad enough to make him cry.  It happens!
