Hey remember when Punk
had that pic of one of her kids wearing glasses in her siggy whatever and everyone jumped all over her? Lecturing her about permanent eye damage and more.
How come no one has said anything to Toosdai or AudreyGoLightly for their siggies?

Punk 1.0 was a loon. Punk 2.0 (since the lobotomy) is universally liked. If she posted it now, others would ask were she got the glasses and if they came in blue or green for boys. They would even probably fly to Dallas so that she could take pics of their DC in those glasses.

I never saw the Punk thread. But my response would have been "Um, that's fairly ridiculous. It's not like the child is being forced to wear glasses with the wrong prescription all day everyday."

If I was concerned about it, I wouldn't say anything about a siggy pic anyway, because sometimes people have the glasses with non-prescription lenses just as accessories. And I'd feel pretty stupid if I jumped on somebody for a picture of their husband driving with the baby on his lap, only to find out the car was not only parked in the yard, but didn't have tires. Same thing.

I think mostly people flame for dumb stuff like play glasses when it's a group/mob effort.
Like if KYchick came back to the board with a pic of her kid sitting next to a stuffed dog she could get flamed to hell and back because "does she really *know* if that toy meets safety standards" or "what did you teach that dog first - to attack minorities or to rail against immigrants for not speakin' English real good while you pick away at your banjo" followed closely by "so does your husband still beg you for handjobs or are you racist against that now?"

If you posted you were saving for your kids college she would flip the F out on you and say you should be saving for retirement. Then when you say hey I have a ton of retirement savings setup all over the place she would never post again. Same goes for a million other things.
