OB told me use Noxema face wash twice a day

in 1st Trimester

Is there anything I can do besides use Noxema face wash twice a day for acne? That is all my doc says to use, but that is not going to work.  I've had acne before I got pregnant. 

Anyone know of anything that is safe that I can possibly bring to my ob and see if he clears it?  I am prepared to walk in his office with a messenger bag full of stuff if I have to!!

    i use noxzema now after bad acne and it's actually working

    I've started using an Aveeno Oatmeal bar, warm water, and a washcloth and it seems to be calming things down.

    I'm being a bad mom and using noxema wipes (with salicylic acid) every other day.  I've done a ton of reading and can't find anything that scares me about the stuff - the only known problems have arisen after contact with industrial strengths and quantities of it.

    Salycilic Acid is fine as long as you wash it off and don't leave it on your skin.  I also use Benzoyle peroxide for spot treatment, and have read on many sources that it's fine.

    It is pricey but it worked AWESOME!! I even broke out on my chest and back with DD and this stuff rocked. If I break out again this time I am getting more!

    I picked up this stuff https://www.basqnyc.com/detail.aspx?ID=2 about a 1 1/2 weeks ago and its been working wonders for me. It's a skincare line designed just for pregnant women so you're OB should approve.

    Which Noxzema product are you allowed to use? My OB said nothing with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide if it stays on the face. My face is broken out so bad! I look like a 14 year old, and I didn't break out back then!!!!
