I don't know, 2.5 weeks is not that big of a difference, I think they could've missed the first sac in the first u/s and one is just growing behind.
A client of mine did not find out his wife was having a frat. twins until the 20 w u/s.... they had missed it 3 earlier times. She was a larger lady and they had to put the u/s wand almost towards her back to get a clear view.
Aside from that, did anyone think this interview was completely weird? Both people seemed really un-natural! If just didn't flow very well.

I agree with gallery! 2.5 weeks isnt that big of a difference and I have known a few people who didn't know they were having twins until further along. I am actually waiting to have an u/s done next week to determine the cause of rapid (insanely rapid) growth and the doc said not knowing you have twins until further along and after a few u/s is more likely than winning the lottery.
The interview was sort of weird.

There was a woman on PL last winter/spring who had a case of superfetation. They found she had twins that were 2 weeks apart but unfortunately she lost both of them. It does happen but is very rare.
The interview was very awkward & hard to watch. I wish they'd just presented a little more of the specifics & skipped all the speculation. The way it was done made for a very "light" story.

It's not like you keep ovulating.. so how can they elude to 2 separate conceptions? It has to be something like diff growth rates.
There can be a delay in implanting but are they saying weeks? Sperm don't last more than 72 hours... it's just so odd.
Makes me think of our cat - cats can be knocked up by multiple fathers, but the babies are basically all conceived around the same time. I'm pretty sure our cat was one of those (we rescued her as a stray), because 2 of the babies (out of 6) looked totally diff!
