recommend a video monitor

I really want to get one soon, so which one do you use and recommend?  Also, feel free to let me know about any you don't recommend and why.  TIA!

    I loved my summer infant day and night color monitor but its starting to conk out. I'm about to call their customer service in a few minutes to see if they can replace it or something.

    I just called summer and they have a 1 year warranty on monitors. I will have to send it back and after 48 hours they will send me a new one!

    Do you have the handheld or the big monitor?  I think I would prefer the handheld so I can carry it around with me.  Also, how is it conking out?

    We also like the summer infant day and night monitor...we have the big screen.  We initially got to hand held and we had some issues but Target took it back for us.

    Its the hand held. The screen goes completely blank and sometimes it won't turn on until you smack it. I think it has a short somewhere.
