When J starts getting fussy, (not crying but hes getting there) i will start making some random noise. Or I start mimicking him. 99% of the time he stops fussing to listen to me, then i start making funny faces and hes better. (sometimes i even get some smiles)

(and once I scared him ) =(

But he finds it amusing when mommy makes a a$$ out of herself.

I do this too! DS was shy about baby talk until he saw me just being so over the top, now he's not shy about it anylonger.

i do that too. especially in the car since i cant do anything else to calm her down. people must think i am insane in my neighborhood. she screams when we pull in and when we pull out...always.

Totally guilty!

I have found that Cameron actually loves it when I sing off key to her, so I end up singing HORRIBLY to her regularly. She loves it when I hit a crazy high note and my voice cracks-it's one of the biggest smiles I can get from her. And snorting like a pig at her-she absolutely loves that as well. Whatever....
