Do your kids like Brain Quest?

Eric is SOOOO into these Brain Quest things.  They are like flash cards (sorta) and tailored to different age levels.  Right now he is breezing through the 5-6 yr one (I think they must be easy for their designated age).  I always feel strange playing these with him because it's like I am administering an IQ test (example:  which picture has more red cubes?  What color block comes next in the pattern?).  However, he loves it :)  Just wondered if my kid is the only nerdy one...

Re: Do your kids like Brain Quest?

  • Where did you get them? They sound great and I wouldn't care if he is nerdy...he is smart and learning! I think Santa is buying Giada them;)
  • Loading the player...
  • Never heard of it but it sounds like something DD would like.
  • I remember those!  I used to love them back in like 5th-6th grade or so!  Heck if he is learning then who cares how he does it right?  :-)

They look like this.  I bought mine at various garage sales but you can get them from Toys R Us or bookstores.  They're pretty neat.  I think they go down to age 2-3.

  • I have the age 2-3 one, need to pull it out and see if Jack will show some interest...when I first bought them 6-12 months ago, he wasn't really talking so that made it difficult!

  • Yes, my son loves them!! He has the kinder one and most of those ones are pretty easy, but he loves doing them.

  • We have the whole set--I got them from the book/magazine aisle at the grocery store a couple years ago.  My DD loves them--we do them at the breakfast table almost every morning.
