    hmmmm, I'm not sure how I feel about this.  I love Diablo Cody and she's got a fun edge.  I hope she's able to put that into the Sweet Valley High movies.

    i love this news! those books were my fave! they better not have a lame cast though. that could ruin it.

    I LOVED the books.... but I don't know about a movie. So many movies are made from books and they kind of ruin it.

    I loved those books, too!!  And Juno was a pretty good movie.  I have a problem with Diablo Cody, though.  I used to babysit her when she was little (and still went by Brooke Busey).  She and my brother were in the same class (Catholic school), our moms were room-moms, and I babysat Brooke and her brother.  I did a lot of babysitting back then and she was such a brat.  She would make up these horrible stories and try to sell her parents that I'd done this awful stuff.  I'm guessing they didn't believe her, since they'd ask me back again.  I only agreed b/c my mom wanted me to do it, and I made some cash. 

    Maybe she just needed a good outlet for her personality.  Her parents were pretty annoying people, too, so I can't blame her for wanting to make big changes when she could.
