I had a IUD and I got it out in the end of June. My DR told me that my cycles should be normal. Had a period on the 2nd of July and it was normal. Then I thought I was due on the 2nd of Aug. but it never came untill the 12th and was VERY heavy and long. Could that have been a M/C?
Kinda Dump question but I never called my DR. and I just don't know?? And now I am pregnant and kind of scared?
Re: Did I have a M/C
You have a ticker that says you are pregnant....
Your cycles could be off because of the IUD. If you are curious, take a pregnancy test, and keep testing weekly until you get a positive or AF. No AF in 60 days...call your doc.

There isn't any way to tell if you had a miscarriage in the past. You could have just been late.
What kind of IUD did you have?

Minera
Ok thanks.
That is progesterone based...which can all but make your periods dissapear (I don't know if this was the case with you). That being said, when you come off of it, your periods are bound to be heavier.
To ease your mind, you can call your doc and tell her, and maybe she will give you an early u/s to confirm viability if you did in fact m/c.
H&H 9 months to you

Speak when you're spoken to. Nobody's talking to you.
PS-it's very much her fault if she's a dumb asss
You weren't the one being flamed. This was a dumB question, and really wrong to post here on this board. It doesn't even make sense - if she had an mc in the middle of August, how could she be 6 weeks KU now?
Feel free to answer however you want - you were very nice to respond to her - but others might not take it as well. They are also free to respond as they wish. I'm with Mrs. on this one.

I get why you are pissed at the OP...she's an idiot to post what she did, no doubt.
But really...speak when you are spoken to? What is this the classroom on Little House on the Praire? A bit uncalled for IMO.
she is 6 weeks pg by her lmp of 8/12, but still this is an unneccesary question.
who knows if you m/c'd last month. are you sure you are pg now? maybe just getting + HPT from residual hormones from your poss m/c?
i think it's insensitive to post here with your ticker. how is anyone here supposed to know what occured in your ute last month??
I have special goggles. If she gets close enough to the screen, I'll be able to tell her.
I'll wait.

You know what, I tend to not get involved in drama like this...but you are a huge b*tch. Ever heard of the saying treat others as you would like to be treated?
It was nice to be on a flame-free board for a while, guess not anymore.

No, she is not a b*tch in anyway. She's awesome, and totally right on this subject. This is a great board, and very supportive, but that doesn't mean people can come over here and post AW questions and not get called out for it.
To the OP: Maybe. Does it matter?
My dad likes to say "Don't borrow pain." Don't make something from nothing, friend, you're KU now so count yourself among the blessed.

Well reposting this on GP to stir things up is definitely out of character for someone who doesn't get involved in drama.
In addition, calling someone a huge b!tch who you don't even know is a little uncalled for as well. .
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Letem know whats up girl
This. exactly. AND what Texas said.
And this is not always a flame-free board. As I recall, about a month ago, a girl came on this board to say how much she admired everyone who had been through a loss and didn't know how they had dealt with it. Her siggy included a pic of her LO and something to the effect of "my baby is the best baby in the whole entire world..." Several girls, myself included, let her have a piece of our minds.
This board is SACRED to me. I don't think I would have gotten through my m/c at 10 weeks without it and all of the wonderful ladies here and on TTCAL. I think people need to respect that and treat this as a mourning board, and stay the HELLLL out if they cannot refrain from being idiots. Or deal with the consequences.

OP, the answer is "probably not" but you should mention it to your doctor anyway if you're concerned.
To everyone else wrapped up in this drama--You know, I think I had two chemical pregnancies a few years ago and would have loved to have a place to come where someone could answer my question like mizz did... especially if I was looking for some assistance and information about if it would affect my current pregnancy and admitted that I was indeed scared.
It's really very simple in my mind- this is a LOSS board- not a place to come if you are wondering if you had a loss and are now preggies so it wouldn't even matter anyway.
People have to understand that the women here are very supportive and loyal to those who actually experienced a loss or are currently going through one. We get feisty when need be because we have all been through and some of us are still going through a lot so we are protective of this place. Just get over it already about who was being a b*tch and who is flaming who. You can't come here and just expect to be greeted with open arms with a post like that.
