Watching a Thread/Direct Message??

I have a question for everyone...I am fairly new and not very familiar with following message boards...so...when you click on "watch this thread' is there a place on the bump where you can go and look at all the posts you are watching??  Also, is there any way to send a direct message to someone?  I wish there was if there isn't.  :)

    on the left hand side if you scroll down it will say something like threads im watching, and also you can send private messages to others. they are referred to as PM. ive never sent one so im not for sure how to. maybe the contact tab underneath the post?? hope this helps.
