Surgery :(

So I am off to have surgery tomorrow, my gall bladder removed.

I got the phone call from Pre-op yesterday & ofcourse I'm an afternoon patient so it's going to be a loooooooooooong morning for me tomorrow without any food or liquids after midnight! Thank goodness the weather is cooling down tomorrow so I won't be absolutely dying for a glass of water.

Fingers crossed DH & DS survive without me for a couple of days whilst I am out of action and resting on the couch.

The one positive I see about tomorrow though is that GREY'S starts back & I cannot wait!!!!!!

    I will be thinking of you!  I hope that you have a speedy recovery and that your dh spoils you on the couch!  It will be VERY difficult to sit and not help out (cause of course mommy's do everything better) but remind yourself that the more you rest the quicker you will be back in action!

    What is with gall bladders and new babies? I had to have mine out at  8 weeks pp, but it wasn't nearly as organized as your sounds. I hope it's quick and you recover fast. Good luck!

    And hey, the scars have gotten cuter too. Smile

    Oh no Nicole, I hope you are back on your feet quickly.  Like Tiff said, it's hard to sit and watch but the longer you rest the quicker you'll be back to normal.  If you need anything, please let us know! 

    Can DH take Cooper out of the house for a bit?  To parks, on walks ect... you are aren't fighting the urge to get up and be a part of it all.

    Thank you all for your kinds words & thoughts! I am sure all will go great, well that?s what I am hoping anyway Big Smile  I have been getting organized for it & stocked up on groceries and prepared meals in advance so it's not too much for DH. I must say I had a VERY easy pregnancy though & was never waited on from him, so maybe I should take full advantage of this surgery - lol Embarrassed And yes Angel apparently it is very common in pregnancies/after pregnancies. My doctor said it has to do with the hormonal fluctuations & genetics. My Mum, Nan & sister have all had theirs removed so I guess it was only a matter of time for me too! Thanks everyone!!
