I dont know what a BPP is but I had a NST on Friday and was on it for about 15 minutes. They used a buzzer thing to wake her up and it sure did the trick.
I had both done at my last appt and I was in the office for 1 hr 45 minutes total. I didn't really have to wait to be seen but it included talking to my doc.
I get NST's twice/week and BPP's once/week now. The BPP will take about 10 minutes or so. The NST will take at least 15 minutes if baby cooperates. I've never gone over 30 minutes with that.
Re: NST/BPP Question
It depends on how well behaved your baby is.
I have these twice a week, and they can be as quick as 20 minutes, or take up to 45 minutes.
Try to eat or drink something before you go so the baby is more active and awake, it will ensure a quicker test.
