I just bought myself new bling!!

I went to the QVC outlet at lunch and bought a solitaire and plain band for $18..it was on sale...epiphany platinum (sterling silver with a layer of platinum over it).  My husband is going to want to sell my real stuff after he sees it. It look so real.

I am excited to wear rings again.  I have felt naked without them, has anyone else bought fakes to wear for the time being?

    I am wearing a sapphire and diamond white gold ring. DH bought it for me the first time my hands and feet ballooned. I was freaked. He is really sweet sometimes.

    There are still days that I can wear my regular bridal set. Those are the good days.

    I have a plain titanium band that I wear when we travel- it's bigger than my real rings because I lost a bunch of weight and you can't resize titanium, and I got it comfort fit style.

    I've been wearing that. I wouldn't want to risk having my diamonds on at the hospital anyway.

    I went looking for fake bling a few weeks ago when I could no longer wear my real ones.  However, I didn't find anything that even remotely looked decent.  Everything looked cheap or was too expesive to just have for a couple of months (hopefully).  Wish we had  a QVC outlet.  Big Smile

    I ordered a fake engagement ring from Premier Designs, something like $34, looks real and is sterling silver electroplated.  I've never had one of their rings "turn", if it EVER does, they will replace it.  Can't beat that.

    I spent $9.99 on my new fake wedding ring from Kohls.  It's 3 very skinny rings that nest together.  I've actually gotten several compliments on it - and I'm always like, thanks - this is what $10 will buy you at Kohls!
