Huguley or Harris?

in Dallas-Fort Worth Babies

What hospital should I deliver at? I have heard great things about Harris, but nothing on Huguley Memorial Hospital. My doc has privileges at both, so its our choice and we live just about equal distance from either. Any suggestions?

    Harris, Harris, Harris. I haven't delivered but I've heard way too many horror stories about Hugley.

    I wouldn't take a cat to Huguley.
    My mom always says if you want to die, go to Huguley.

    And my cousin lives in Cleburne and chose Huguley for her delivery over Harris and she had MANY complications. And now that her kids are a little older she has taken them to the ER when they were sick. Huguley ER misdiagnosed 2 of her 3 kids and they ended up in PICU at Cooks. Cooks told her if she would have kept the kids on the same med for whatever diagnoses Huguley gave her, it could have killed the 2 kids. She has now filed a lawsuit against Huguley.

    I worked in Burleson for 6 years and don't know anyone that had their baby at Huguley.

    Isn't that crazy! I havent found anyone either! My husband was born there 30 years ago and my mother in law used to work there and even she swayed towards Harris.

     

    PS; I live just north of Burleson! =)
