My 2 weeks in Paris were awesome, exactly what I was hoping for. Spent a lot of money (!), drank a lot of coffee, and ate a lot of desserts. I had so much fun.
Oooh, I'm so jealous! What was the highlight of the trip?
Hmmm.... I would say the highlight was taking 3-4 hours to eat dinner almost every night. Between the delicious courses and the conversation, I loved not rushing and just enjoying the food and the company. It's probably what I will miss the most!
Hey arrie - we were actually in Paris at the end of July and LOVED it. Any favorites while you were there?
This was my second time so I had already seen most of the sights... I really loved just being in the city and enjoying life. Eating a freshly made crepe in the Jardin de Luxembourg, drinking a cafe creme and watching the people go by.
I also really loved seeing Sacre Coeur at night. It was breathtaking all lit up.

I have to say this is one of my absolute favorite memories of going to Paris. That whole area is beautiful at night the cafes and restaurants plus the view of Paris from up there! Breath taking.

I wholeheartedly agree... my cousin lives in this area, just north of Sacre Coeur, so we would walk around in the evenings, and we had dinner a few times there. Such a great atmosphere.
Re: Back from Gay Parieeee
Paris..awesome...that is wonderful. I'm glad you enjoyed it, but how could you not? Dessert....mmm.
P.S. Speaking of Paris, are those Frenchies in your pic?
