NBR: if you Nest from your iPhone

HOW DO YOU TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK? I CAN TYPE THE SUBJECT LINE JUST FINE BUT THE POST WILL ONLY TYPE ONE LETTER AT A TIME IN LOWERCASE IF I HIT THE SHIFT KEY. DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ANYBODY ELSE? IT'S DRIVING ME BSC. THX!

  • Most of the time - I can't even get my iPhone to type! and when it does it is in all caps. I'm hoping someone else can give some insight. . .it is really frustrating. Sorry I wasn't actually any help. Tongue Tied
  • Nope. Sorry :(

  • Ok I figured it out. Its a setting. Go to settings, general, keyboard & turn off auto-caps. The only bad thing is that now it doesn't automatically capitalize the first letter in the sentence but that's better than shouting all day.
  • I have no idea either. I didn't even know you could type all caps without hitting the uppercase key after each letter.

My auto-caps is on and I don't have the same problem with it typing in all-caps.  Weird.

     That is weird. Huh...
  • There is also a caps lock setting that was turned off for me. I turned it on but it still doesn't make it type in all caps. I guess you're just special.

ETA: corrected "your", should be "you're" oops.

  • Do you have JavaScript turned off in the Safari settings? I know that caused some problems with people posting, but it didn't make them type in all caps. Too weird.

Yep. I had to do this before I could post at all. I guess I am just special. ;)
