what are you buying your LO for Christmas?

i was at TRU with Melissa and melanie yesterday and it got me thinking. So what is everyone buying/asking for for thier LO's? I don't want him getting a ton of clothes or little toys. So I need things to tell my sister and mom.

I know. I feel like my MIL is just going to buy Eve clothes. that is all she ever buys her. I know she thinks its practical.. but she has LOTS of clothes and clothes are cheap. I want her to get nice toys..

I have been picking up little toys for Santa to bring Tyler all summer. I need to get a few little things for Santa to bring Brianna since Tyler will be old enough to understand this year. But as for what the kids want for Christmas, I am going to ask for a reversable car seat for Brianna since Tyler will still be in ours when her time is up. A magazin subscription for High Five for Tyler. CG for the bouncy house place. Toddler arts and craft stuff, like giant coloring pages, bathtub crayons and finger paints. Some new character (like Thomas&Friends) sippy cups. Not sure what else yet.

I started a "Wish List" for DD too, on TRU website. MIL is constantly asking me about things she needs and I never know what to tell her. This way when I see something I can add it and she can look at it later. DH and I aren't planning on getting many presents for her this year, because friends and family will provide plenty, I'm sure.

My DD is almost 3 so it's a very different story for us..

But for an almost-1-yo, I'd get stuff like-

- plastic blocks with the "stuff" inside
- things that make noise - there are those roll-a-rounds which are clear plastic balls that have bells etc in them
- PJs
- CDs for the car
- bath toys
- tactile books

It's rough because Xmas is only 5 weeks after his birthday so I gotta think of 2 things. Probably some kind of ride on bike-y thing. He was sooo beyond spoiled by our families last xmas- probably just something small from us.

We aren't planning on buying a lot since she will be only a few months old. We will probably just buy her a few small toys. I know my parents are planning on buying clothes which works since we don't have a ton of winter outfits.

Hmm, I have no idea what to get! I already bought a Sophie when I saw it at a store back when I was like 30 weeks pregnant. So maybe I will put that in her stocking. Otherwise, I have no idea.

We will be giving lots of picture gifts this year though, haha!
