anyone get things off here before ?

how did you get the items ?

I found a girl that wants goddstart checks for a new bumbo. I'm kind of scared to meet soemone I dont know alot of scary people out there. What if I meet her at a starbucks ?

    I would either meet somewhere public, like you said...def. don't let her come to your house or go to her house. Maybe bring DH or a friend with you? Or maybe can you mail it?

    Ask to meet in a public place.

    I went with my DH to pick-up and exersaucer at someone's house.  If it was just me by myself I would have met in a public place.  

    If you ever sell anything, do not list your phone number and do not take anything other than cash.

    I have done lots of "business" from Craigslist.  If you feel more comfortable, meet her at a Starbucks.  I have met people in mall parking lots, picked stuff up at houses, all sorts of stuff.  If I am going to meet someone to sell or buy something, I always let someone else know where I am going, just in case. :)

    DH and I purchased our swing off of Craigs list. We meet in front of McDonalds. I think its fine as long as you meet in a public area while its still light out and you are not alone. I know pleanty of people who got great deals off that site. Go for it! I think thats a good deal, checks for a bumbo.

    I LOVE Craigslist and use it all the time, buying & selling/giving away items.

    You don't have to meet her at your house, it's a better idea to meet in a public place.

    OH, and I get those checks all the time, but toss them.  I thought they were some stupid thing...  never even thought about it.  They are valuable?

    Yes, please meet in public.  I live in Beaverton, Oregon and earlier this year we had a tragedy involving a pregnant woman and craigslist.  Public is safe though and this is a wonderful deal!
