He doesn't move around a lot in his sleep; at the most I'll find him higher or lower on the mattress, but never out of the middle. Maybe when he becomes more mobile it will be a problem.
DD moves around a ton, but her arms are way too skinny to get stuck still at this point. When DD#1 was little I used the "old school" bumpers, so she didn't, but I will not use those now with DD#2.
