    There is a reason why racoons were always portrayed as bad guys or bandits in the cartoons.

    Looking at the picture gives me heebies.  Racoons are probably one of the very few animals I just have NO tolerance for.  They're so mean and SNEAKY!!  Very impressive that you successfully trapped one!!

    unfortuately the exterminators euthanize them.  They explained that there is an overpopulation of raccoons and the state does not allow them to release them somewhere else to be someone else's problem! 

    There are 4 total so we have 3 more to catch!

    I understand they can be such a problem, but that makes me sad.  I am a huge softy when it comes to animals... even the problematic ones.

    me too!  If I didn't have Cruz I would just let them continue to hang in our yard but the last thing I need is him getting round worm that is carried in their poop!
