You do not know my dh, it would take more than that to stop him from getting some. However, it will teach him to be so curious!

Me too. I've seen that site before and found it to be very informative and helpful. Can't say I was grossed out, or wanted to vomit. I guess I'm just very comfortable with the human body. I don't find my CM or body parts to be "gross", and unless there is something disgustingly abnormal about other women's body parts, it doesn't really bother me, personally.

Yay! I am not alone!

Nope! I just think our society kind of teaches women to be afraid of and grossed out by their bodies. We're made to feel unclean during AF. Masturbation is considered perfectly acceptable (and frequently discussed) for men, but not for women. If a woman sleeps with multiple men she's a wh*re, but if a man does it he's a stud. Products like douches (which are actually bad for you) are marketed to women to make them "clean", when in fact the reproductive system is like a self cleaning oven, and is better without those things. I could go on... It's such a shame that women are taught to feel ashamed of their bodies (let's not even get into the shame that's perpetuated if you don't look like Gisele Bundchen). If more women were more in tune with their bodies and what's going on with them, and weren't so ashamed of their bodies/reproductive organs, it would probably save a lot of women a lot of headaches!

I found it informative, but it did make me feel sick to my stomach. I don't find body parts gross in general and I'm comfortable with the human body. BUT, I'm squeamish and the site of blood (even my own) makes me sick to my stomach. It's not so much the subject matter as it is the in depth photos. I prefer a less graphic demonstation, but that's just me.

And I think that a visit to this website is a rite of passage for those TTC and the GP board in general. I've been lurking for a year and a poster for the past few months and I've seen several people post with similar reactions to the site!

I kind of agree...it's similar to a site that was linked a while back showing the release of an egg. I found it pretty interesting too
