I would love to breastfeed until Jacob is 11 months, I'll be going back to work then and I'd rather not be pumping. Ideally, I could wean him to morning and evening feedings.

My goal is 6 months... it has been harder since I came back to month at 3 months. I don't like pumping and starting at the beginning of October it is going to be even harder to pump, so I have to keep myself geared up to reach my goal.
it's been harder since i've been back at work so for now i'm saying 6 months---but before then we may wean down to formula during day and BF morning/night so that i don't have to pump at work...
diagnosed with stage IV endo via lap surgery
IVF #1 - 27 eggs! 14 fertilized (3 natural, 11 ICSI) 5dt of A embryo, froze 6
BFP on 9/28!
Baby K born via surprise c-section after 15 hrs of labor and he is perfect!!
My first goal is 6 months and then I'll re-evaluate. My ultimate goal is a year. I'm back at work and so far pumping hasn't been an issue but I'm trying not to put too much pressure on myself. If I stop pumping at 6 months I would still like to nurse him at night.
I'll nurse for a year and then I'll probably start the weaning process. So it will be some time (a couple of months, maybe?) after that when he no longer gets BM.
I EP and my original goal was 3 months, but I am there and things are still going well. My new goal is the end of the year, so when DD is over 6 months. I'd love to get to 1 year if I can!!
as long as i can...and he wants. hopeful to hit 12 months
ive had low supply and have done the reglan/oatmeal/mothersmilk/powerpumping/nursingweekend etc etc routine since the beginning and I supplement 1-2 bottles a day at daycare but nurse in the morning and at night (or whenever we are together).
i went back to work at 8 weeks, and have pumped during the day, 5 days a week ever since. Every couple of weeks it gets hard and I have to recommit myself to pumping. I enjoy nursing and I will miss that bonding time when its over.
My original goal was 6 months and now that I'm there, I've decided to go until 12 months. I have a crazy oversupply issue though and have almost a 3 month supply of frozen BM, so I might wean him at 10 months and just use my frozen stash.
I hope to continue to BF until DS is 1 year. He is now getting cereal and 1 bottle of formula a day...but I am still mainly BFing and hope to continue.
At least 6 months, but ideally a year. At 6 months I'll decide whether I want to head back to work or not. If I stay at home then I'd like to continue for a year. If I head back to work then hopefully I'll have enough BM stored up to keep him on BM for a few more months.
Re: Breastfeeding moms~ what is your goal?

My goal is 2 months. Might go to 3.
It'll be too hard to pump with my work schedule.
